La Lobo

 

Under the light of the full moon, a shadow of a man emerged, walking menacingly. His ragged breathing echoed in the dead of the night before he fell on his knees as his eyes glowed a tantalizingly terrifying shade of golden amber. As the moon's light intensified the chilling howl of a beastly animal echoed. From the shadows, a majestic white wolf appeared in all its glory.

The story of a werewolf depends on the lore you will study. Some say it was passed through bloodlines, others believe it comes from a scratch, like rabies. Regardless of the lore, there's one thing that has always been consistent. Werewolves have a natural air of confidence, oftentimes seen as arrogance, and they are naturally short-tempered. Their animal spirit overpowers their emotions pretty quickly, and everything could become twisted into one single emotion, rage.

Having two psyches, that of a human and an animal is a struggle that every werewolf has to suffer. It is both a gift and a curse knowing that in just a split second, your animal instinct could easily take over. How do you translate lycanthropy to a human personality? I have the best answer: get to know Pablo of SB19.

At a glance, you could easily tell that he is a person of authority with the way he carries himself and his natural aura. As soon as you hear him speak, you would feel confused at how soft-spoken and down-to-earth he is, but wait until you see him on stage. It's like the moment he steps on stage is when the full moon rises for werewolves. You could literally imagine wolves howling the moment he start performing. It's even an understatement to say that he looks different when he performs because he literally transforms into a different kind of majestic beast.

To understand better, one must watch every Mana and La Luna performance of Pablo. These two songs bring out the musical beast in him, especially Mana, which pushed me further down the Pablo rabbit hole. As someone who prefers underground music more, especially the gritty ones, Mana is that song for me. It perfectly shows how limitless and boundless, SB19's artistry is, and most especially, Pablo's songwriting skills. Calling him an alpha is very fitting and appropriate. A man that can be perfectly described as a werewolf, and not just any werewolf, but an alpha wolf. The moment you watch him perform, you will have no other choice but to bow down to the ALPHA.
