BLESSED

Pablo and RADKIDZ are known for their grit and hard-hitting lines. Most of their songs are about life and a person's struggle, but not this one. Blessed is the happiest among all of the songs the brothers had created. In one of the Luzon leg of his UNA tour, Pablo said this song is dedicated to his fans and those who had been supporting him since the beginning. To seen and appreciated like how SB19 and Pablo treat their fans is something we don't see often. It's one of the reason why majority of their fans had been with them since the beginning.

From writing SLMT, which is their group's songs to their fans and loved ones, he created his own appreciation song that will make you both feel loved and validated. It is one of the reasons why Pablo is respected by the vast majority of the A'tin Community. His music is not just an escape from the cruel world, but also a salvation from the darkness that clouds our minds. And with his newest twin albums, Pablo did not just give us a name for our pain and struggles, inspiration and fuel our determination, but he also made us feel that we mattered.

Let's look at it
Our lives are constantly changing
And they're changing so fast
That we don't have time to make the adjustment
By the time, we get the wisdom
We don't have the strength to implement it
Because we're tired from all of our dumb mistakes
Beautiful (Hey)

This introductory part of the song is like a preacher talking to his people, reminding them not to dwell on things they have no control over. The message of the introduction is to let go and just live life freely, that worrying so much about the future is futile. The mistake of the past is unreachable and the success of the future is still steps away. We have no way of knowing what the future has in store for us, so it is better to live in the now.

We all know how grateful Pablo and SB19 are of their fans. They've always been vocal about how much they appreciate the efforts of their fans, especially Pablo. In his new album, Laon, he dedicated this song to everyone who believed and supported him to show how blessed  he is to have all of us.

I'm alright with you by my side and
Don't know why, I'll never ask how you got here
Well, anyway, any day, I'll be okay
As long as you're here to stay (Hey)
'Cause tonight I'ma fly, I'll bе weightless
Ain't no way can anyone еver take this
Understand, I'll be damned (Yeah)
You're not part of the plan, I became a fan

The firs verse is the admission that he had no idea how he garnered so much love and support, but he also admits that it helped him in many ways. He acknowledges that with his supporters by his side, he will always be okay. We make him feel worthy and seen, and even though he never thought he would earn this much love, we make him happy and fulfilled. There's really nothing much to decipher in Blessed. Just like what Pablo said, music is universal. It transcends time, geography, and language. A song can be interpreted in many different ways, but this fifth track on his Laon album can only be understood one way, gratefulness.

He is one of the most kindhearted and genuine people in this world. A man full of beautiful wisdom and love to share the world. We may not deserve his greatness, but his music is something we absolutely need in our lives as a source of hope, inspiration, and determination. Instead of him thanking us, we should be thanking him for saving us from the darkness that is trying to swallow us whole.
